Practice:
Attorney Shauna L. Finnegan began her legal career as a Pro Bono Housing Attorney at Neighborhood Legal Services in Lawrence, Massachusetts and later interned at the Essex County Superior Courthouse for (Ret.) Asst. Clerk Edward Sullivan. In 2003, Shauna began working as a Paralegal for Attorney Beauregard at Palma Law Offices in Lowell, Massachusetts. She later joined The Law Office of Todd D. Beauregard, PC in 2008, was promoted to Managing Attorney in 2012, and made a Partner in 2022.
Education:
Shauna received her BA in English Studies from Merrimack College in North Andover, Massachusetts and her Juris Doctorate from Suffolk University Law School in Boston, Massachusetts. She was admitted to the Massachusetts State Bar in December of 2008.
Experience:
Often described by her clients as empathetic, diplomatic, and a zealous, albeit reasonable, advocate, Shauna’s practice primarily focuses on Probate Law, Guardian ad Litem work, Worker’s Compensation, and Superior Court civil litigation. Oftentimes, Shauna is appointed by colleagues and/or the Court to act as a GAL, Parenting Coordinator, Special Master and/or Trustee.
Memberships:
Shauna sat as President of the Greater Lowell Bar Association from 2017-2018, and as a GLBA Board Member from 2014-2017. She is an active member of the Massachusetts Council on Family Mediation (MCFM), certified as a Category F Guardian ad Litem, and a qualified Mediator, pursuant to MGLc 233 § 23C.
