Attorney Deonee High joined the Law Office of Todd D. Beauregard, P.C. in the Spring of 2021. Attorney High is barred in Massachusetts where she focuses her practice in the areas of family law, estate planning, and trusts and probate administration.
Education:
Attorney High earned her Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice with Special Honors and a Minor in Psychology from George Washington University in Washington, DC in 2013 before earning her Juris Doctor from Michigan State University College of Law in East Lansing, Michigan in 2018. While in law school, she was involved with the Public Interest Law Society, the Trial Advocacy Board, and the Black Law Students Association. Attorney High developed litigation skills and sharpened her passion for client advocacy while competing in the American Bar Association’s Arbitration Competition, where she served as a brief writer and team captain, helping MSU Law become Regional and National Finalists for two consecutive seasons.
Experience:
Attorney High brings a unique perspective based on her background in social work. She worked for the Department of Children and Families as a social worker in Arizona and Massachusetts before attending law school. She consistently navigated through the complexities of the system and its affiliates to promote permanency and enhance the families’ protective capabilities. She regularly assessed, evaluated, monitored, and managed clients’ services, emotions, and expectations for abused and neglected children, their parents, and families. Throughout her legal career, she has worked in the areas of civil litigation, criminal law, consumer law, insurance law, family law, estate planning, and trusts and probate administration. Her experience and knowledge in understanding the intricacies between family law and the state and appellate systems makes her extremely valuable in guiding and assisting clients in meeting their needs and achieving favorable results.

Attorney High is a member in good standing with the Massachusetts Bar Association, the Boston Bar Association, the Massachusetts Black Lawyers Association, and the Massachusetts Black Women Attorneys Association.
